This year's conference will headquarter at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio on the famous Riverwalk. All attendees will receive a special rate of $180 single/double occupancy. But reservations must be made by Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, in order to guarantee this low rate.

"I have always viewed the NAC as a rock-solid conference that provides a high-energy, high-impact learning and networking opportunity for all levels of attendees," he says. AAAE Essentials of Airport Business Management Workshop
September 19-20, 2009

Don't forget to register for the AAAE Essentials of Airport Business Workshop happening just before the 2009 NAC.  Hotel cut-off for this work shop is also this Friday, August 28, 2009.  Click here to make hotel reservations and register for the workshop.

The Essentials of Airport Business Management Workshop, formerly entitled "Basics of Small Airport Management" provides an overview of property and business management issues confronting airports and will now benefit an airport of any size. All levels of management at small, medium and large hub airports and general aviation airports will find the workshop topics valuable. If you work at an airport that has tenants, you definitely will benefit by attending this interactive workshop.

b2WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT
AAAE Airport Wildlife Manager's Course
September 21-23, 2009

This three-day course is tailored for those individuals who are responsible for creating or implementing an airport's Wildlife Hazard Management Plan. Intended as the follow-on course for the Airport Wildlife Management Techniques Course, the Manager's Course focuses on the challenges faced by a prospective airport wildlife program manager and enhances the skill sets needed to create a successful wildlife hazard management program.  The course was developed using scenario based learning models and incorporates a team-building approach which challenges the students to meet the learning objectives of the program in a real world environment. This course provides the students with the ability to work collaboratively with their peers to understand complex problems and develop creative, alternative solutions at an operational airport facing real wildlife management challenges. Using an existing airport wildlife hazard assessment, students, working with their teams, will be required to conduct a site survey on the airport, analyze survey data and make recommendations important to that assessment.
